We all want to achieve lot of things in our lives. We are told we have to set these as goals as the first step to realising the dreams we have.
Setting goals is easy. Of the people who set goals, a very small percentage of people manage to stick to intentions, stay at it long enough to actually achieve the goals . Multiple studies show that most people who set New Year Goals forget about them in the first few weeks.
Why does this happen? What is wrong?
Most people simply assume that "lack of willpower" caused this failure. Wrong, in my opinion.
Something about me:
I have been setting goals, sometimes failing, sometimes succeeding , for the last 3 decades. Along the way, I have read every conceivable book on the subject, attempted every new fad on productivity, focus, and willpower enhancement; I have used hundreds of apps and tools in this quest. Everything seemed to work for a while, only to become utterly useless sooner or later.
